• Note: If earned for a Deustrum Isomara the owner can apply the trait to either or both pairs of front arms.

How to Earn:

• Art Option [3 Artwork]
  • Explore once in the snow biome and once in the ocean (2 separate pictures)
  • The final drawing must be your Isomara with this new trait, celebrating with an isomara not owned by you
• Literature Option [750+ Words]
  • Take your isomara on a journey. At some point in the story, the Isomara needs to be described as feeling cold.

Be careful flailing your tail! Your Isomara grows three to five pairs of spikes on each side of its tail.

Restrictions:

• Tail Spikes are subjected to the mandatory whites rule unless the isomara has the Dyed Whites Special Trait
• Only available for the Long, Whap, Prawn, Scorpio, Lobster, Mako, and Fin Tails

How to Earn:

• Art Option [2 Artwork]
  • Draw your Isomara chasing its tail
  • The final drawing must be your Isomara with this new trait
• Literature Option [600+ Words]
  • The story must involve your Isomara using its tail to do something productive.

"Wait, weren't you blue just a second ago?" "Oh, yeah, sometimes I just don't feel blue anymore." This special trait gives a character an official alternate color palette. 

Restrictions:

• This trait can be earned a maximum of three (3) times per character, meaning each character can have their original color palette plus three (3) Chameleon alternate palettes
• You can have two markings be the same color to appear as if some markings are missing in a palette
• You can keep some markings the same color on different palettes
• You cannot make only half of a marking be a different color (Example: You have a solid blue spot on the character's face, you cannot make half the spot one color and the other half another color; the entire spot must remain one solid color)

Exiled Isomara were not born with these dyed whites. Some chose this path of solitude, others were forced out of the community and shamed, perhaps for doing something against their kind or bringing harm to society. The offenders are punished by having them dye areas of their white fur and wings, and then the village casts the offender Isomara out of society into exile. In more recent times, some isomara rebel against society and willingly dye the whites of their fur in protest against certain traditions, beliefs, and outdated values of isomara society.

Restrictions:

• Dyed whites cannot be colors too close to the whites, such as light creams and light greys
• At least three different areas must be colored
