Exploration Rewards Breakdown

Here, we detail the specifics for what other factors can alter and improve a player's rolled rewards when submitting an exploration.

The Basics

     Each biome has a set variety of items (as seen in the exploration guide page) which can be found by an isomara. Each of these items are randomly rolled to have the chance of being found. The chance for an isomara to find a certain kind of item is based on its rarity: common - 90%, uncommon - 70%, and rare - 30%. Some items such as legendary rarity items each have a unique drop chance depending on the biome. If the roll deems the item to be present in the exploration, then the amount of said item is rolled to figure out how many are brought back and rewarded. When it comes to the amount of an item rolled and found, that varies per item and per biome.
To summarize, a single roll reward is made up of (1) The item's chance to be found and (2) The amount found.

Roll Rewards

     Now the amount of rolls granted in an exploration submission will vary from player to player and from submission to submission as many factors are accounted for when figuring out how many rolls for each item is calculated. For each isomara in the exploration of that biome, a single roll for each item will be given (you can see this default 1 roll on any of the exploration prompt rewards).
     In order to receive more rolls for each item, a player may consider simply adding even more isomara to the exploration as this will at least multiply the base roll amounts per isomara included. However, there are many more factors which can improve the roll amounts which involves each isomara's hunger meter, their equipment and accessories, their companions and critters, and even their achievements! Island Inhabitant Base Rolls and Specific Perks

     Isomara as the main playable species will be able to find and gather most kinds of items across the island from the start, but with companions and critters they can gather and bring back a larger haul!
Note - The companions and critters must be drawn / included in the story for their perk rewards to be added to exploration rolls. Explorations must include at least one (1) adult isomara.

Primary inhabitants such as Isomara inherently receive reward rolls when submitting an exploration. Secondary (companions) and tertiary (critters) species must be attached to a primary species in order for them to receive their species perk roll rewards.
