Updates, Changes, & Fixes since Update 7.6. This journal outlines additions and changes to the Isomara Island ARPG since the previous update. You may be familiar with some of the topics below. At times, we announce new features right away in Discord, but we want to ensure the entire community knows the latest news and fixes.

🛍️ Player Shops

• Players can now make their own shops to sell to and buy items from other players! At this time, only items can be stocked in shops. Later on, we will implement and allow equipment, accessories, and critters into shops.
• Once a player makes a shop, it will appear in the Player Shop Index, and a new section will appear on the player's profile.
• Each player can make up to two shops, which is great if you want to sort out items, or roleplay that certain shops are owned by certain characters.

🐈 Companion Conservation

• The Bramble Thicket is the first of the new areas that players can discover. Various NPC companions reveal these small hidden areas after gaining their favor.
• You can do a new quest for Thyme to receive Lydia's favorite treat. Once you use the treat to gain Lydia's favor, you can assist her in providing bedding and chow to abandoned Memora kits. In return, these kits may leave you gifts or may even want to join your side once they've gained their strength.

🎉 Upcoming Isomara Island 10th Anniversary

• May 10th will be the ARPG's 10-year anniversary. We plan to hold another Open Registration during this time, character raffles, adoptables, mini-events, and more.

🟣 Special Trait Earning Requirements

• Reduced the amount of art needed to earn the Trail Special trait from 5 to 4 pieces of art
• Reduced the amount of words needed to earn the Trail Special trait from 1,600 to 1,200 words

🫧 Miscellaneous

• Mystery Candy and Ultra Mystery Candy now provide 0 hunger points (previously 2 hp and 5 hp, respectively)
• Pumpkin Drops' stat gain on consumption reduced from 12 to 8 stat gain
• Moved the Toyhouse Profile button on character pages to the profile section
  • Can only be seen if the owner of the character adds a link through the edit profile button on a character (Example: See Pacings' profile section)
• Added ArtFight Profile button on character pages to the profile section
  • Can only be seen if the owner of the character adds a link through the edit profile button on a character (Example: See Pacings' profile section)
• Added ArtFight Social link to community navbar dropdown
• Players can now link their Artfight profiles by going to user settings
• Removed Instagram socials from the website

🛠️Fixes

• Fixed miscolored "Miscellaneous" Item Category text in shops on various site themes
• Minor UI cleanup and optimization at various screen sizes, including mobile sizes (Recommended to clear browser cache [CTRL+F5])
• Removed companions from dropdown selection when choosing to attach an achievement to a character, as only Isomara are intended to have achievements

🐛Known Bugs

You can find the full list of known issues here. These are issues that have been reported by players or noted by staff and have not been resolved yet, but are on our radar.
New issues on our radar:

• Item sources are removed from Items when removed from a player's shop stock
• Badge sections on player profiles will continue to display recently earned/owned badges even if the badge has since been transferred to a character

• We will no longer be cross-posting all update information on DeviantArt. There will still be status posts on both the IsomaraIndex Account and SlayersStronghold's account, which will link to the on-site update news post.
• The Update Log hosted on DeviantArt will also not be updated anymore. A new Update Log has been created on-site and is referred to in the old DeviantArt Update Log.
