Uncover the Aerial Attacker: A Voyaging Event!
The Kickoff:
Brothers Darwin and Daku set off on a voyage to the southeastern sea far off the island. Taking to the sky, they soared just about to the point of the last SE voyage that had been recorded, but their voyage had to end prematurely. Assaulted from above, the two were attacked by a swift creature. Using the clouds as cover and the blinding sun, it managed to land three powerful hits between the two brothers. Darwin flew into the clouds, and Daku left to plummet in utter surprise.
After regrouping with one another, the brothers quickly returned to the main island with no rewards in tow but with new information. It will not be long until all the island hears about this tale.

Returning to the island and after getting checked out by a local physician, the brothers spread word of their encounter to the closest villages. The account was pressed as important and made into an official report. It was reported as such:
Initial Report
Date: Day 26, Month of Growth, Y-01
Location: Southeastern Sea [SE]
Recounting of Event: A voyaging squad of two isomara, brothers Darwin and Daku, were attacked by an unknown assailant from above while flying high above the sea.
According to the account, neither got a good look at the creature aside from a singular large eye. From the attack, the creature was light and roughly two to three times the size of an average blepper.
A scouting mission was issued to all qualified isomara, and those who cannot voyage are being pushed to get qualified. We need more eyes out at sea.
Time to Embark
Assist the community in uncovering this unknown creature. Players will need adult isomara who have completed Voyaging Verification. Once completed, these isomara will be able to partake in Voyaging.
While the initial report stated the encounter happened in the southeast, we encourage players to voyage in other directions as well. Every voyage submitted will count towards this event. Some submissions might not come back with any new knowledge; some will come back with new items and information.
Rewards
As an official scouting mission, every voyage submission during this event will reward x1 White Pearl 
. Additional rewards may be granted depending on the outcome of the voyage. Like all voyages, there is a chance to uncover new land, flora, fauna, and additional information about the world outside the island.

Follow-Up Report #1
Date: Day 18, Month of Warming, Y+01
Location: Northeastern Sea [NE]
Recounting of Event: While sailing above the northeastern airs, avid voyager Ulap has come across another one of these creatures. A sketch based on the sighting was commissioned. While partially veiled by clouds, Ulap with certainty saw this creature adorning a feathery tail and back feathers. It held the same skull and body shape with large bat-like wings as the initial report. This creature was last seen soaring down to a nearby isle in the northeast. Voyager Ulap returned home and did not confront the creature or set claw on the isle further out.
Follow-Up Report #2
Date: Day 21, Month of Warming, Y+01
Location: West near an unnamed island [W]
Recounting of Event: Ulap of the previous report encountered another of these creatures. It darted from the cover of tree canopies and fled directly north from the western unnamed island. The creature flew with great speed and ease.
Follow-Up Report #3
Date: Day 4, Month of Thirst, Y+01
Location: Fang of Ciclopy [E]
Recounting of Event: Luce, the deustrum, and party discover a creature lurking and watching them. Luce was quick to lunge at the creature and managed to pin it, but let go as the creature bared two large frontal fangs and bit Luce. It fled deeper into the island.
