This issue has been fixed! The Prismatic Essence item can now be used once more as intended where from your critter inventory you can select a cloud hopper and change its variant using the aforementioned item.

For those who submitted a claim already, we will be handling those right away!

There is currently a bug that does not allow all players to change the variant of their cloud hopper with the new Prismatic Essence item. We apologize for this inconvenience and are working on a fix. In the meantime players can submit a claim to use this item to change a cloud hopper of their choice.

We have disabled the use of this item to automatically change a cloud hopper's variant. If you already used your item and it vanished without changing the hopper's variant we will be refunding you your item soon.

There will be a follow up bump of this news post for when this issue has been fixed.
