Updates, Changes, & Fixes since Update 8.3. This journal outlines additions and changes to the Isomara Island ARPG since the previous update. You may be familiar with some of the topics below. At times, we announce new features immediately in Discord, and we want to ensure the entire community knows the latest news and fixes.

🌠 Achievement Hunting Commences
- All achievements have received description text on how to earn and what rewards and perks they may grant.
- Not all achievements can be earned yet, but now they state if they cannot.

🪟 Character Masterlist Layout Options
- A new layout can be chosen on your character's masterlist page by going to the "Edit Profile" button in the Profile box section on the page. A toggle will be available when on the edit profile page.
- Slayer's Note: "No one asked for this, but I did it anyway! Also, I frankly prefer the default layout, but some of y'all might, and I like to provide players with more customization options."

🗨️ Community Through Comments
- Comments can now be enabled on player profiles. Comment feeds are disabled by default.
- Head over to your account settings to change your player comment visibility to open your profile up to receiving comments
- Characters can now also have a comment feed! Comment feeds are disabled by default.
- Character comments can either be mass-enabled through your account settings, or you can go to your character's masterlist page and select the "Edit Profile" button in the Profile box section, locate the Character Comment Status dropdown to override your global account setting.
🖼️ Where is Your Character Hanging Out?
- Players can now apply background environment images to their characters! These background images are called Hangouts. To apply a Hangout to a character, go to your inventory, select the Hangout, and select transfer to the character of your choice.
- Only one (1) hangout can be equipped to a character at a time. To swap out hangouts, go to the character's inventory and remove it.
- Slay's Concessions is stocking a couple of these Hangouts for free! These and other hangouts may only be found while exploring.
📝New Prompts
- Sting or String - Earn the sting or string achievement by playing with the island's local danger cats
- Emergent Freedom - Depict your isomara's hatching to earn the Breakout achievement
🐉 Isomara Traits
Changes
- Berries now provide 1 hunger point per berry. Previously was 1 hunger point per 2 berries.
- Berries can now be consumed from a player's inventory
- Witch Hazel can now be used as a cure from player inventories
🫧 Miscellaneous
- Sugar has replaced Sugar Cane in Darwin's Exchange Center, and the price has been reduced from 3
to 2 - Reduced the amount of Berries needed to craft Berry Jelly from 25 to 14 berries
- Various items, including ones found in Hasha's Hut, have had their descriptions and information added and updated
- Use code N3yY34r2026 to receive some goodies
🛠️Fixes
- Added missing item descriptions to various items,
- Equipped accessories and equipment no longer incorrectly list characters they are attached to when viewed from the player's inventory
- Sigils are placed in the character achievement basket when earned. Sigils have now been separated into their own tab on character master list pages.
- Fixed some images in the Prompt Pavilion that were not linking to proper prompts
- Eggs can no longer be fed items
- Select character dropdown when attaching critters, equipment, or accessories now displays the full character's name, not just the ID numbers
- Isoling Growth prompt is now visible on the prompt pavilion page
- Most Rice Paddy Field text has been updated to be more tailored to that Conservation area
- Minor UI adjustments made to character masterlist pages
- Fixed daily stamina, NPC quest, and other daily activities not always resetting
- Note: The fix in place is a fail-safe, as the original issue falls on our server host.
- Updated some older item art and missing art
