Natural Nest

There wasn't a day Bird wasn't accompanied. Birds of several colors and variety would consisitently roost in her hair through every season, and others would simply roost in winter to keep warm. Small animals would find solace in the fluff that she grew, calling it a temporary salavation from the harsh environment when necessary. She was never short on isomara companions either, from isolings like Deus to adults like Article, she was always in the company of someone or something.

Now, while she still has her birds, a new site is constant while she roams the village. Two eggs, a mottled dark deep like velvet chocolate; the other a creamy white and brown like fresh bread. It's certainly a sight, seeing such large eggs safely nestled into fur as she casually trots about.

"Good morning, Bird!" calls Story, a new friend in the fold; she'd just returned from travelling again. Similar to Article, Story never stays in one spot very long. She is tall, regal, but speaks rather stiffly.

"Puuurrrrrthh," Bird trills, hopping back and forth on her front feet. She may not be one for words, but she expresses as vibrantly as any other. Story comes closer to peer at the eggs; they have a luster to them that almost reflects the midday sunlight.

"I see they're looking beautiful as ever, congratulations Bird," Story says as she gives one a gentle nudge. "Is Article still preparing to voyage? A few more days of prep and he would be ready no doubt."

Bird nods excitedly, knowing how much Article has been anticipating the journey. He'll be away for a while but not before the eggs hatch. Bird was on her way to visit him down on the beaches, his favorite spot to rest.

"May I join you? I'd like to get acquainted to your clutch before I'm away again," as Story saunters to the side of Bird, ready to stroll to her destination. Bird gives her a very happy nuzzle to the neck, causing Story to laugh before they restarted their journey to the beach.
